Reed accountancy have recently partnered up with a business who have an opportunity for an Bookkeeping Assistant / Office Administrator within our their busy office in Liverpool.

This is a varied role which will involve working within our administration department to ensure all bookkeeping and administration functions are accurately completed daily, and to provide support to our on-site staff. An eye for detail is essential as is commitment to ensuring the ability to undertake quality work even under pressure.

The position suits a highly organised individual who is capable of learning new processes and software applications. No detail has been overlooked; therefore, precise attention must be given.

The role:

  • Daily bank postings and reconciliations
  • Allocate/Reconcile/Enter customer/supplier invoices & payments
  • Credit Control
  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Timely handling of supplier invoice/stock queries
  • Reconcile, query and file supplier statements
  • Cash book/ Petty cash transactions ensuring all is accounted for
  • Entering financial Data
  • Performing data entry tasks efficiently and with accuracy

The Person

  • Strong numeric skills & attention to detail
  • Proficient at using Microsoft Excel & Word
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Previous experience in similar role preferred but not essential

Experience needed:

  • Organised with strong time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask & prioritise accordingly
  • Proactive approach towards work environment
  • Problem-solving mentality
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
