Barker Munro Recruitment are assisting a leading insurance organisation who need a motivated, professional and dedicated Claims Handler to handle a portfolio of Employers Liability, Public Liability and Personal Injury Cases. You will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional advice service to your clients concerning any claims issues.
Your primary task is to liaise with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claim and you take a real sense of pride in effectively over delivering against your clients' expectations.
You are an expert claims handler and will handle claims from beginning through to conclusion.
Your Role:
- Dealing with Liability Claims up to £100,000.
- Advise and update your clients about relevant events and discussions during their claim. .
- Efficiently running claims and keeping the system updated with all relevant information.
- Balance your workload in order to service the client promptly and expertly.
- Update insurers and recovery agents, informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process.
- Ensure that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance to SLAs.
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- You will have experience within the insurance or legal industry and have expert liability claims handling knowledge.
- Technical knowledge to effectively handle personal injury claims from FNOL to settlement.
- We need your strong customer service drive along with your good planning and analytical skills.
- We want you to spot potential risks and seek advice when required
- You will have good communication and interpersonal skills.
