CCTV Lead Officer
£37,032 to £38,576 per annum (including Shift and Unsocial Hours allowance and London Fringe Weighting), plus contractual overtime
Are you willing to assist Dacorum Borough Council in its initiatives to improve the lives of those who live and work within our Borough?
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help lead the team in the Community Control room.
Monitoring CCTV cameras and other systems linked to the Community Control Centre, whilst maintaining close links with the police and other agencies. You will be required to work flexible hours on a 24 hour per day, 365 days per year shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
You will be able to give attention to detail, work within our established procedures and have excellent observation, computer and communication skills.
A key part of this role will be communicating clearly and concisely as well as being able to act efficiently and calmly in high pressured situations.
A good general knowledge of the Dacorum area is desirable. Experience of supervising staff within a Control Room environment is essential.
An SIA qualification in CCTV is essential for this role.
