Salary Negotiable Depending on Experience

Due to continued expansion our award-winning client are seeking a full-time project engineer (Mechanical biased) to join their growing team

Project Engineer responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing all projects relating to new system builds within the factory and onsite installations
  • Assisting the sales team in quotation stage to establish project criteria
  • Liaising with clients and completing a variety of documentation in line with customer requirements
  • Working with the Design Engineer to assist as required with the production of design drawings and 3D Images using the Solidworks Software
  • Approving Build of Materials Lists and forwarding to Warehouse for picking.
  • Working with the projects co-ordinator to plan work
  • Working with the Administration Teams as required
  • Instructing Engineering team as required
  • Assisting with the instruction of Installations - working with Installation team
  • Project management duties to include preparing, monitoring the engineering projects to ensure that projects are completed accurately, on time and within budget
  • Developing System Risk Assessments and System Manuals
  • Reviewing engineering deliverables, initiating Corrective Actions to assist the development of best practices, routines and solutions to improve production rates and quality of outputs
  • Assisting with Audits as required
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The ideal Project Engineer candidate:

  • Engineering Project Management skills, ideally within the water industry
  • Experience with Solidworks package in an Engineering based capacity
  • Knowledge of Water Purification and or plastic (ABS) pipe work up to 5" systems beneficial
  • Managing multiple projects at once (ranging from £10k-£500k)
  • Excellent written and oral skills are essential along with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • You will have a strong customer service/quality focus, with good numerical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • A flexible approach to work the ability to adapt to change whilst managing time, commitments and meeting deadlines

Core Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:30 / Friday: 08:00 - 15:00

(Role involves site visits so hours may vary)
