Our client are a prestigious educational institution located in Manchester looking for a Finance Officer to join on temporary basis until Apr 2025. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team within an organization that values growth and excellence.
Your new role
As a Finance Officer,you will play a crucial role in the finance team. You will be responsible for providing financial administrative support including:

Regularmonitoring of transactions and reconciliation of supplier accounts

Accruals and prepayments
-
Preparations of journals
-
Analysis of income and expenditure variances
-
Preparation of financial reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
- Experience of working in an accounting environment or with financial processes/systems, ideally within a large organisation
- Experience of providing excellent customer service including demonstrating an ability to deal with a wide range of colleagues
- Knowledge of the Oracle Financials (Desirable)
- Ability to work independently and
- Excellent verbal and written communications
