Customer Service Advisor

Our ideal candidate would be someone with a background in B2B relations either in Merchant services, Telecoms or Water services and be accustomed to working to targets. A successful candidate will be operating as a consultant and the duties will involve prospecting to our existing client base for additional services to add to their portfolio.

It's essential that applicants applying for this position should have excellent verbal and communication along with great objection handling skills, as the role requires you to present our products and services to clients with the view to adding to their current portfolio.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • To service all our existing accounts from queries to resolutions.
  • To demonstrate an ability to up -sell and cross sell other products and services within our catalogue when needed.
  • Contact suppliers to gather information and resolve any queries raised by our customers
  • To gather Market and customer information by acquiring interest and then collating the information from customers in order to create a sales opportunity.
  • To deal with any objections that are presented with a view to turn the objection around in to an opportunity
  • Ensure all information gathered for any customer is accurate and compliant
  • To represent the business in a professional manner at all times
  • To respond to all email and phone enquiries that maybe presented in a professional Manner
  • Striving to exceed monthly KPI targets, including team and individual targets
  • To positively approach opportunities to maximise sales revenues to meet and exceed targets and KPI's
  • To manage all inbound enquiries via the telephone or email.
  • Managing the sales pipeline to ensure all leads are contacted in a timely manner to maximise conversion opportunities.
  • To call our client base with an aim to prospect for additional opportunities with water, Merchant Services or Telecoms solutions
  • Building and maintaining a customer pipeline
  • Performing all administrative tasks as required by the role
  • Accurately update our internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, VOLT, to ensure information flow between departments is smooth.
  • To attend training when required

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in Customer Service in Energy B2B (desirable)
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully creating opportunities,
  • Telecoms ,Water or Merchant, Waste, Energy Services experience is desirable but not essential
  • Confident to approach customers on an outbound and inbound basis
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual,
  • Be able to generate business opportunities with confidence
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience working in Target driven environment with ability to succeed
  • Punctual & Presentable
  • Excellent time-keeping and organisational skills
  • Be able to show initiative and willingness to learn new sales techniques
  • Adaptable to change within the business needs

Experience

  • Experience within Energy, Water or Telecoms or energy (Desirable)
  • Account Management Energy Experience B2B (desirable)
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet targets and KPI's
  • IT Literate
