About the Role:
This is an entry-level role and will provide hands on experience in the financial services sector. We're looking for driven candidates with analytical and problem-solving skills, with an understanding of the banking sector and treasury.
Responsibilities:
- Internal daily reporting of ALM positions (Including Liquidity, Capital and Market Risk) to senior management.
- Management of IRRBB through proposal of swaps to Treasury, and subsequent Hedge Accounting activities.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of the Bank's ALM systems, producing necessary report outputs.
- Assist in the preparation of the Banks regulatory reporting requirements, including Single Customer View.
- Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of PRA/FCA/BOE returns.
- Daily Liquidity reporting and cashflow processes.
- Support for committee reports.
- Management of Treasury Assets using TMS.
- Ensure that integrity of Regulatory and ALM reporting is robust and reconciled to internal reporting and core systems.
- Internal ledger reconciliations, between Treasury, ALM, and Regulatory Reporting modules.
- System data flow analysis documentation.
Experience required:
- A-Level Mathematics or above.
- Understanding of the banking sector and Treasury in particular.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Analytical skill set with focus on problem solving.
- Driven mindset and detailed approach to analysis.
- Good Excel skills.
