Hays Recruitment is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant with a reputable manufacturing company based in Aylesbury. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to contribute to this team while balancing other commitments.
Your new role
The key responsibilities for this role include managing the purchase ledger, handling the sales ledger including customer portals, performing bank reconciliations, and processing bank payments. Additionally, the role involves preparing VAT returns, managing payroll including HMRC submission and reporting, administering pensions, and conducting weekly and monthly reporting. Other duties include completing ONS surveys and dealing with HMRC for PAYE, VAT, and Corporation Tax.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll preparation and submission, preferably using SAGE 50 payroll. They should also be proficient in accounting software, ideally SAGE 50 accounts, and have experience dealing with HMRC.
