VNA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative for our client based in Pontyclun. This is an ongoing temporary position.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment used in the production of PVCu products
- Follow detailed production instructions to ensure the highest quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and report any issues
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the production facility
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a production setting
- Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour
