Digital Marketing Officer for Tech Firm

My client is a Tech firm based in Birmingham looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Officer (Demand Generation) for an exciting new opportunity due to growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven digital marketing strategies to generate high-quality leads and nurture them through the sales funnel. Your primary focus will be on leveraging various digital channels and platforms to identify, attract, and engage their target audience.

This busy and varied role will support an entrepreneurial Marketing team spear headed by a charismatic Head of Marketing. You role will entail:

  • Devising and implementing digital campaigns, such as search engine marketing, social media advertising, and content marketing, to capture the attention of potential customers and drive them to the website or other lead capture points.
  • Develop and maintain a robust lead nurturing programme, utilising marketing automation tools and email marketing to guide prospects through the sales cycle and convert them into paying customers.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and informative digital assets, including blog posts, ebooks, webinars, and social media content, to position the company as a thought leader and attract the right prospects.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of digital marketing campaigns, reporting on key metrics such as website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Working closely with the sales team to align demand generation efforts with the overall sales strategy, ensuring a seamless handoff of qualified leads.
  • You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive customer experience.

Applicants will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent. You must have previous experience in a digital marketing role with a focus on demand generation using content.
