Company Overview:

I'm partnered with a very successful and Independent Insurance Broker, with a very strong network and rapidly growing portfolio of Clients within the Commercial, Property & Construction arena.

They are now looking for a Senior Account Handler to join the team.

Position: Senior Account Handler

They are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Account Handler to join them, you will become a key player in there VIP book with autonomy to nurture and grow the book from Cradle to Grave.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong Technical knowledge, be a motivated, organized, and innovative individual who thrives on the challenges of building strong customer relationships, identifying potential business leads, whilst providing a from top to toe servicing of the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the full servicing of a portfolio of Commercial SME Clients, inclusive of Property Owners, Commercial Combined, Manufacturing, Shops/Offices, and Construction.
  • You will assist with Client enquiries, mid-term adjustments and new business quotations.
  • You will be responsible for renewals and send renewal invitation letters to Clients, ensuring a high level of renewal retention.
  • You will have the freedom to use your own initiative and to grow the book of business, remuneration will be discussed at Interview stage
  • You will build and maintain strong relations with new and existing Clients.
  • Attend Client and Underwriter meetings with the Director.
  • Assist with admin tasks and record relevant data on to the Acturis system.

Qualifications:

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Handler or an Account Executive.
  • Experience within Commercial Insurance is essential.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ideally you will have experience in using Acturis.
  • You will be proactive, enthusiastic and be confident.
