Second Charge Mortgage Advisor Role
As a Second Charge Mortgage Advisor for the brokerage, you'll receive leads through an established network of introducers and a robust referral network. Your primary responsibility will be guiding clients throughout the mortgage process, assisting them in securing suitable mortgage products tailored to their needs and financial circumstances.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer expert advice and guidance on second charge mortgages to clients.
- Assist clients in securing the most suitable mortgage products tailored to their financial circumstances.
- Analyse and compare mortgage products from various lenders.
- Stay up-to-date with new mortgage products and changes in mortgage regulation.
- Adhere to strict industry rules and guidelines, ensuring the provision of impartial and appropriate financial advice.
Second Charge Mortgage Advisor Package
- Hours: 9am - 5:30pm
- Fully Office-Based Position
- Basic Salary: £35k - £40k OTE: £55k+
- Full post-sales administrative support

Desired Skills and Experience
- Experienced and Qualified Mortgage Advisor
- Prior experience with second charge mortgages
- Experience in maintaining relationships with introducers
- Ability to quickly build rapport and create lasting relationships
- Dedication to providing outstanding customer service
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude
- Provide professional mortgage advice to clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct thorough financial assessments and analysis to determine suitable mortgage products for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the mortgage application process.
- Liaise with lenders and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and efficient mortgage transactions.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and market trends to provide up-to-date advice to clients.
Requirements:
- CeMAP qualification or equivalent is essential.
- Proven experience as a Residential Mortgage Advisor, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Sound knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and lending criteria.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
