Job Description:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across multiple year groups within the school. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery under the guidance of class teachers.
- Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups to facilitate their academic progress.
- Leading structured activities and interventions to reinforce learning objectives.
- Promoting positive behaviour management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working within a primary school setting.
- A Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
