Job Advert: Finance Officer
Location: Cardiff or Carmarthen (1 day a week on-site)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Contract: 12-month contract initially, with a strong likelihood of becoming permanent
Holiday: 30 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays
About the Role: My client, a lovely third sector organisation doing exceptional work in the community, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Finance Officer. This role covers all elements of transactional accounting and provides vital support to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of transactional accounting
- Supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting and analysis
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong all-rounder with a solid understanding of transactional accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
