Data Engineer

We are currently hiring a Data Engineer to work for a large manufacturing company based in Lancashire. The hire will play a vital role in designing, scaling and maintaining data infrastructure working across the business intelligence and analytical structures.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure cloud services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, etc.).
- Develop and optimize data models, data lakes, and data warehouses to ensure high performance
- Build and manage robust ETL workflows to support analytics and business intelligence teams
- Stay updated with the latest Azure services and recommend improvements or new tools where necessary
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements
Required:
- 2+ years experience as a data engineer
- Azure, SQL, ETL, and CI/CD experience
- Data warehouse experience is a plus
