My client, a family run business who specialise in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces within the community, have ambitious plans to grow the company further and are looking to add a Landscaping Contract Manager to the Senior Management Team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will manage the Landscaping teams, liaising with a wide range of clients, including local authorities, private housing developers and education providers.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Landscaping Contract Manager:

  • Handling initial enquiries, arranging and attending Client Site Visits/Surveys
  • Managing the project to ensure that it stays on budget and is completed within the allotted time frame
  • Ensuring the client remains fully updated throughout the project
  • Overseeing the recruitment and development of your team
  • Supporting the directors to grow the department and wider business

Required Skills and Qualifications of the Landscaping Contract Manager:

  • Horticultural knowledge at degree or equivalent level is desirable
  • Prior experience of carrying out a similar role
  • First class communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other third party stakeholders/contractors
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • The desire and ability to help grow the division and wider business through proactive business development and networking
