Duration: 4 months initially, could be longer

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
About the role.
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Receptionist/Administrator to support our clients office operations across the top two floors of our modern building. This role involves a mix of administrative tasks and reception duties, supporting one other administrator to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:

  • Answering and directing phone calls in a courteous and professional manner

  • Greeting and assisting visitors to the office

  • Managing the reception area to ensure a welcoming environment

Administrative Support:

  • Assisting with franking and posting of outgoing mail

  • Managing and distributing incoming correspondence

  • Performing data entry and maintaining office records

  • Supporting email communications and handling general enquiries

Office Operations:

  • Assisting with the coordination of office supplies and equipment

  • Ensuring office spaces are tidy and organised

  • Supporting other administrative tasks as needed

What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not essential.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • A positive attitude, professional demeanour, and a willingness to learn and adapt
