About the role

As Operational Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring colleagues individually and as a team are equipped with the right skills, expertise, and culture to deliver Certitude's high quality, personalised support services to adults with a learning disability and/or mental health support needs, across a range of services, including Supported Living, Community Support, Day Opportunities, Registered Care and Residential Respite services.

Duties will include:

- Provide effective and inspirational leadership and direction to Team Managers and colleagues across your locality, ensuring they deliver required performance, compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Provide a high level of senior visibility in the services and teams across your locality, including attending team meetings and sharing current information and initiatives from across the wider organisation.
- Ensure all colleagues, including direct reports, are managed, and supported to perform at their best and emphasise their strengths, through appropriate induction, regular 1:1s, team meetings, learning initiatives and expert coaching.
- Build great relationships with the people we support and the people important in their lives.
- Overall responsibility for the management and monitoring of financial budgets and management accounts across your locality.
- Lead, monitor and control contract delivery across the locality and ensure that all aspects comply with the regulatory and legislative requirements.

About you

To be an Operational Lead at Certitude, the following are essential:

- Demonstrable complex service management experience, leading teams and managing resources in a Health or Social Care setting. - Knowledge of factors affecting the sector locally and nationally. - Ability to manage and motivate individuals and teams to achieve high levels of performance. - Experience of managing contracts, budgets and income streams. - Strong knowledge of Care Standards and Care Act 2014, safeguarding, DOLS/MCA and regulatory frameworks. - Experienced in taking business decisions and learning from the outcomes.
