The Camden Society have an exciting opening for a new Service Quality Director to join our team**.** You will join us on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary. This role is up to 24 hours a week.

The Service Quality Director role:
The job is an Executive role with the responsibilities of a Director. You will be supported by an Executive Assistant to ensure you understand and fulfil your duties in this role.
The Service Quality Director works alongside The Camden Society Managing Director and the The Camden Society Board. You will attend Board Meetings and Senior Management meetings.

Responsibilities of the Service Quality Director:
- You will lead on Thera's Being Heard Strategy in The Camden Society. This is about making sure that everyone we support has a voice and a chance to say how they feel about the support they get and the lives they lead.
- You will monitor the quality of support that people get to make sure that they are getting support that is empowering and inclusive.
- You will do this by monitoring reports that come from the Quality Company who will carry out regular independent assessments on the support people get. If issues of concern are raised, you will find out what is going on and who to talk to get things sorted.
- You will lead on The Camden Society's Company Membership. This is about encouraging people supported by us, their family/carers and staff to sign up as The Company Members.
- You will be part of developing how and where The Camden Society works and creating ways to improve the way we work that are in keeping with our Vision.
- You are responsible for keeping people's personal details safe and respecting people's confidentiality and dignity.
What we are looking for in the Service Quality Director:
- You must be a proud learning disability advocate and not be afraid to let people know when things are not being done in an accessible and inclusive way.
- You will need to be willing to learn on the job from those around you and complete required training and keep up to date with mandatory learning. Your EA can support you with this.
- You will need to be able to work with your Executive Assistant to prepare reports for your Board and for Thera Trust about the work you do. You will have good computer skills and be able to respond to emails and attend online meetings. You will be provided with laptop and phones.
- You must be fully committed to your job and to the wellbeing of the people we support. Good time keeping and being reliable is essential.
- It is important that you are happy to be part of a team and get on well with people.
Please read: This role requires travelling across Hertfordshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire, sometimes independently including travel by train, to meet people supported by The Camden Society - You will have the support of an Executive Assistant to carry out your responsibilities.
When you are not travelling to meet people, you will work from your own home.
You will need to have your own unlimited home wi-fi connection and be able to do some of your online work independently.
