Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide KS3, KS4, and KS5 pupils with stimulating and demanding lessons.
  • Encourage a passion for chemistry by using cutting-edge instructional strategies and hands-on experiments.
  • Assist and mentor students to reach their full academic potential.
  • Together with a gifted group of educators, create and carry out successful lesson plans.
  • Engage in extracurricular pursuits and make a positive impact on the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (willing to get one).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Must provide 2 proven professional references.
  • A degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching chemistry at the secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
