Day Webster are currently recruiting a Band 5 Occupational Therapist loacted in Blackburn

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking Senior Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills, who can able to demonstrate excellent clinical assessment skills, able work as part of a team and work autonomously to join the BWD Community Rehab Team.

The service is a 7 day service operating between the hours of 8.00–20:00.

However as a Community Rehab Occupational Therapist you will work 08.00 - 16.00 Monday to Friday to facilitate supported discharges home from hospital, condition management, falls assessments, activity of daily living assessments, interventions and reviews. Weekend working may be required.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure and the successful applicant will be required to pay for their DBS check.

We are looking for a therapist with excellent communication skills who can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills who has the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. The role will involve a holistic approach to encompassing physical rehabilitation and refer to wider community services.

You will improve experience for patients and their families. We promote continuity of care for patients in the community setting. Supporting patients following falls and providing support for the Integrated Neighbourhood Team (INT).
