Compliance Manager

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Compliance Manager to join a growing company that are investing in both their people and processes to underpin their continued success.
As Compliance manager, you will work across the Design and R&D processes to ensure the company product portfolio meets relevant regulations and standards for its applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure all new product designs meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of regulations and standards for the industry applications within the product portfolio
- Monitor any changes or updates to standards and ensure the business adapts to any regulatory changes.
- Review existing products to ensure they comply with industry regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits, or product tests as appropriate to identify areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
- Facilitate external audits and manage the achievement of compliance certifications.
- Deliver compliance training to employees and ensure proper documentation.
- Work closely with the production and quality teams to address compliance issues and implement solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in compliance management within a manufacturing environment, ideally in an industry supplying regulated products or certified products.
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and ISO standards or demonstrable ability to interpret these
- Relevant qualifications in Compliance, Quality or Safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
- Experience with internal audits and compliance certification processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across departments.
- Knowledge of, or interest in lean manufacturing tools and methodologies would be advantageous
