Compliance Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a mind for standards and process to join a forward-thinking company that values operational excellence.

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Compliance Manager to join a growing company that are investing in both their people and processes to underpin their continued success.

As Compliance manager, you will work across the Design and R&D processes to ensure the company product portfolio meets relevant regulations and standards for its applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure all new product designs meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of regulations and standards for the industry applications within the product portfolio
  • Monitor any changes or updates to standards and ensure the business adapts to any regulatory changes.
  • Review existing products to ensure they comply with industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct internal audits, or product tests as appropriate to identify areas of non-compliance, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Facilitate external audits and manage the achievement of compliance certifications.
  • Deliver compliance training to employees and ensure proper documentation.
  • Work closely with the production and quality teams to address compliance issues and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in compliance management within a manufacturing environment, ideally in an industry supplying regulated products or certified products.
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations and ISO standards or demonstrable ability to interpret these
  • Relevant qualifications in Compliance, Quality or Safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
  • Experience with internal audits and compliance certification processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Knowledge of, or interest in lean manufacturing tools and methodologies would be advantageous
