Staffroom Education are currently short-listing for a Textiles Teacher, who is also able to teach Art, vacancy within a Secondary School in Newport. This is a full-time position starting from September 2024, and will continue for 1 year until July 2025. The person specification for this role recommends a determined and passionate subject Teacher teaching across Key Stage 3 & 4 with the ability to develop, encourage and inspire learning at their core.
Job Requirements:
- A first-class subject knowledge across Key Stages 3 & 4
- Thorough classroom management strategies
- A passion for raising student expectations and achievements
- The ability to build strong working relationships with staff and pupils
- The ability to remain up to date with educational developments and changes whilst undertaking the role
- Awareness of and compliance with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection
