Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking for a new administrative role? Our client, a dynamic organisation based in West Thurrock, Essex, is seeking an Administrator to join their team.

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for a range of general office administration tasks, including scanning documents, managing emails and maintaining the HR system. You will work closely with the Compliance Manager to ensure that the HR system is kept up to date, sending scheduled notifications and raising reports for circulation. Monitoring expiry dates of documents and acquiring copies of new ones will also be key parts of your role.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be handling important documents and ensuring accuracy in payroll and compliance processes. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as you may have to liaise with various stakeholders within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Compliance Manager in maintaining the HR system and sending scheduled notifications
  • Producing and circulating monthly reports
  • Checking payroll against the HR system
  • Collating tickets on the operating system
  • Verifying permit-to-works against a spreadsheet
  • Confirming subcontractor tickets against invoices
  • Monitoring stocks and ordering when required
  • General office admin tasks, including scanning and managing emails

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration or a similar role is desirable
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
