Social Worker - specialist Domestic Violence and non-caseholding roles

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking Social Worker for 2 specialist roles in its children's services.

These are paid at the maximum MOU rate of £33.30 (umbrella).

Please see details below:

1 x Qualified Social Worker experienced in undertaking initial risk assessment, planned interventions, and updated risk assessments of those who have perpetrator DV. Serving as the person's primary point of contact, and to be pro-active in developing and implementing safety plans. Staff to be predominately office based with the option to work at home 2 days a week.

1 x Qualified Social Worker for a non-caseholding specialist assessment role. Candidate must have specialist experience and training in Parent Assess, pre-birth assessments etc. This role also requires you to be locally based in Stoke up to 3 days per week.

Requirements of the roles:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Fully Social Work England registered
  • Must have substantial post qualified experience in children's social care
  • Must have specialist domestic violence or specialist assessment experience and/or training depending on the role
