  • Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 DOE
  • Up to 10% Bonus - subject to eligibility criteria

Job Description

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional eager to take the next step in your career and have a passion for creating safe and compliant workplaces? Then this is the role for you. The ideal candidate will have a background in high hazardous environments or chemical and gas management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Co-ordinate and facilitate HSE compliant activities undertaken on site
  • Lead or contribute to investigations into hazards and dangerous occurrences
  • Review and facilitate comprehensive incident recording
  • Initiate & co-ordinate the development and review of policies and procedures
  • Working in partnership with Business Partners and site managers
  • Completing Tool box talks
  • Maintain and deliver the internal QHSSE audit programmes

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Certificate, British Safety Council Diploma in Safety Management, NVQ4 in Occupational Safety & Health Management or equivalent
  • Relevant Internal Auditor qualification or experience - 9001 / 45000 / 17025
  • Full UK Driving License

Experience Required

  • Operating within a diverse service organization
  • Working within certified Management Systems
  • Inspection and auditing
