Account Sales Manager

We are a family-run plant and machinery business seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Aberdeenshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of health and safety within the company.
  • Work towards attaining further relevant HSE accreditation.
  • Stay updated with HSE legislation.
  • Manage and develop the training matrix for skills and competency.
  • Maintain and update health and safety policies and procedures to ensure best practices and compliance with HSE regulations.
  • Manage and develop Risk Assessments.
  • Maintain accident records, complete RIDDOR reports as required, and collate data for internal reporting.
  • Assist in investigating any breaches of HSE policies or procedures and ensure corrective action is taken.
  • Conduct employee inductions for health and safety and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Issue PPE for new starts and renewals to existing staff as required.
  • Record and organise Spirometry testing for relevant employees.
  • Develop training strategies with Managers.
  • Source and coordinate training courses as required.
  • Maintain training records for all employees.
  • Action and maintain report back system.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of HSE requirements in a workshop and service company environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of working practices.
  • Desire to progress a career within HSE.
