Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Technical Systems Engineer to support our growing team of 100+ users across multiple locations. You will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations for our teams in London and Somerset. This role requires an individual with a strong background in Mac systems, Office 365 support, and expertise in JAMF and Meraki.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to over 100 users across our London and Somerset sites.
- Manage and maintain Mac systems, ensuring smooth operation and security.
- Offer expert support for Office 365, including troubleshooting, user management, and system optimisation.
- Utilise JAMF for device management, deployment, and security across the organisation.
- Configure and manage Meraki networking solutions, ensuring reliable and secure network performance.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new technologies and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to gallery operations.
- Ensure all IT systems are compliant with relevant security and data protection standards.
- Provide training and support to users, helping them to make the most of our IT systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within a creative or cultural institution.
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Mac systems and macOS.
- Strong experience with Office 365 support, including Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Proficiency in JAMF for Mac device management.
- Experience with Meraki networking solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- A proactive, customer-focused attitude with a keen eye for detail.
- Willingness to travel between London and Somerset as required.
Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 including benefits
