Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct building surveys and inspections, identifying any defects or necessary repairs.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed reports, schedules, and specifications.
- Provide on-site management support, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Support the senior surveyor in managing budgets and timelines.
- Utilize your practical experience to offer hands-on solutions and improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the construction industry, including practical experience "on the tools."
- Site management experience is essential.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license.
