Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building surveys and inspections, identifying any defects or necessary repairs.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed reports, schedules, and specifications.
  • Provide on-site management support, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Support the senior surveyor in managing budgets and timelines.
  • Utilize your practical experience to offer hands-on solutions and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the construction industry, including practical experience "on the tools."
  • Site management experience is essential.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
