Allocations and Lettings Administrator

Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community but we want to do more. That's why we are striving to provide 1,000 additional homes by 2025.

As an administrator at Fairhive you can expect a varied workload and to be a valued member of our team, providing administrative support, essential to the smooth running of the business.

About the Role

We are looking for an organised administrator with good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task to provide essential administrative support to the Allocations & Lettings team.

Supporting the Allocations & Lettings team with administrative duties and providing great customer service and information to tenants and applicants.

On the Job you will:·

  • Processing mutual exchanges, Bucks Home Choice applications and being first point of contact for Lettings queries
  • Working closely with other various other departs including the Voids team as well as external agencies and local authorities
  • Processing orders, key returns, taking minutes at meetings

About You

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a variety of administration tasks and who enjoys working with a diverse range of people. You will understand the importance of delivering an efficient and effective service to colleagues and customers.

For this role you will need:

Excellent customer service skills

Experience of Lettings and/or housing

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:

  • good communication skills both verbal and written·
  • attention to detail·
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise·
  • the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team,·
  • practical problem solving skills·
  • Computer skills (MS Office)
