Hourly Rate: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour
Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, term-time only

We are looking for a HLTA to work with students aged 5-16 who have special educational needs, including Autism and associated conditions. In this vital role, you will collaborate with our experienced teaching team to provide both academic and vocational support, helping students succeed in their educational and personal development. Your involvement will span a range of settings, including classroom activities, outdoor Bushcraft sessions, and life skills programs
About the Role:
- You will be a key member of our SEN team, working closely with teachers to implement and deliver personalized learning programmes for students with a range of SEN.
- Support children with a range of SEND difficulties, such as: ASD (Autism) and SEMH (Special Education Mental Health)
- You will provide a wide range of support, including:
- Individualized interventions to address specific learning needs
- Small group instruction tailored to different learning styles
- Classroom support to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Communication and collaboration with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing and progress of our students, playing a vital role in their academic and personal development.
About You:
- You have a strong understanding of SEN and a proven ability to effectively support students with a range of needs.
- You are a confident and skilled educator with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
- You are committed to continuous learning and development in the field of SEN.
- You possess at least grade C in both Maths and English (or equivalent), and have at least 6 months - 1 years of experience working with SEN students.
