Project Engineer - Water

Your new company
You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor working on water projects in the Worcestershire area. This high-profile organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers great opportunities to advance your career. They are now looking to onboard a Project Engineer to join their highly successful team.

Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will be based primarily in the Worcestershire area and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
  • Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
  • Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
  • Monitoring subcontract performance
  • Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
  • Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:

  • Basic engineering background (electrical and/or mechanical)
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes
  • CDM and health & safety knowledge.
