They are a machining and fabrication specialist who pride themselves on quality and precision engineering.Due to expansion and new machinery a great opportunity has become available for an experienced confident Brake Press Toolmaker Setter Operator to join their workforce.The Brake Press Toolmaker role requires a highly skilled professional responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of brake press machinery.What you'll do:- Utilize your mastery of Brake Press operations to fabricate parts to exact specifications.- Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimise production processes and enhance efficiency.- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure peak performance of equipment.- Uphold our commitment to quality control, ensuring every product meets our rigorous standards.Responsibilities:- Preparing the brake press machine for operation by installing and aligning the necessary tooling, dies and fixtures. This involves interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the correct setup for each job.- Operate the brake press machine to bend or form metal sheets according to precise measurements and specifications outlined in blueprints or work orders.- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition. This including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts to prevent downtime and ensure safety.- Monitor production process to ensure parts meet quality standard.
