Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Packer to join our team in a warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials, ensuring quality control, and managing stock efficiently.
Our client in Glasgow is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team in busy Warehouse in Maryhill in Glasgow.
There are 2 departments with different hours and rates of pay- please specify which slot you are interested in when applying.
Factory Operative 7.30am to 7.30pm - flexible weekly schedule £11.62 per hour with a full week paid as 46 hours per week.
Factory Operative 7.30pm to 7.30am - flexible weekly schedule £14.52 per hour with a full week paid as 46 hours per week.
Dayshift is from 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 1pm on Friday. Pay rate is £11.44 per hour and 37.5 hours per week fixed schedule.
Backshift operates from 4pm to 2.30am Monday to Thursday. £13.73 per hour and 40 hours per week (4 x 10) fixed schedule. Please only apply if you have your own transport as there is no public transport at 2.30am.

Responsibilities:
- Utilise warehouse management systems to organise stock and track inventory
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles
- Pick and pack items according to order specifications
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain high standards
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes
- Perform general warehouse duties as required
- Use mechanical knowledge to operate equipment effectively
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the role
- Familiarity with stock management practices
- Proficient in picking, packing, and organising goods
- Strong attention to detail for quality control procedures
- Good understanding of shipping and receiving protocols
