We are currently seeking Group Financial Controller for a fast growth hotel group with plans to open up further sites. This role is situated in the vibrant heart of London's West End, with the flexibility of working from home two days per week.

About the Role: As the Group Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee the financial strategy and operations during a critical phase of expansion. This high-profile role is key to the leadership team and essential for maintaining the financial health of the organization during this transitional period.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain financial governance frameworks as the company continues to scale.
  • Oversee the production and accuracy of financial reporting, ensuring efficient month-end processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory requirements to maintain corporate integrity.
  • Manage and optimise financial systems for peak functionality and integration.
  • Strategise and execute financial frameworks for entering new markets and initiating new business ventures.
  • Sustain strong relationships with banks, regulatory bodies, and private equity stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing financial team, setting benchmarks for excellence and growth.

Who You Are:

  • You are degree-educated in finance or a related field and ACA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • You have a robust background in managing financial operations in multi-site settings, ideally within the hospitality sector or Hotels or Retail.
  • You possess a proven track record of implementing process improvements and leveraging technology in growth scenarios.
  • You have team management experince in industry.
  • The client is happy to wait for candidates on a three month notice period.
  • Your leadership skills are complemented by the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, you excel in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
