Humanities Teacher Role:
- Within the context of the school's curriculum and schemes of work, plan and teach lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach
- To maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the teaching of mainly Humanities as a subject
- Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievements of assigned pupils
- Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school's policies, practices and procedures in such a way as to support the school's values, ethos and vision
- Setting and marking of regular homework
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Humanities Teacher with UK Qualified Teacher Status.
- Demonstrate that you are deeply invested in the advancement of pupils' learning and success.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development and use this information to adjust teaching strategies.
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A fully checkable work history.
