The Head of Performance Analysis will be responsible for overseeing the performance reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial and operational reports. This pivotal role will involve collaborating with various departments to analyse performance data, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting or finance and a proven track record in performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

As Head of Performance Analysis you will be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage the performance analysis function, focusing on the accuracy and timeliness of financial and operational reporting.
  • Develop and implement robust reporting processes to support business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyse, and interpret performance data.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business performance and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Continuously improve and streamline reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop a team of performance analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on performance analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools.
