Senior Paraplanner/Technical Manager - £55k, Support 3 established advisers - Boutique IFA - Near Newbury (Berkshire)
My client are a boutique independent wealth planning firm near Newbury who offer whole of market financial advice to HNW retirees, accumulators, local families and SME owners based across mainly Surrey but also across other home counites. Clients have varying levels of asset to invest but the top clients have over £1m to invest. The business offers advice on pensions, managed investment portfolios, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning, protections (both personal and business) and some esoteric schemes such as VCT & EIS schemes.
The business places exceptional client service and satisfaction at the top of their priorities and considers themselves to be highly ethical and keen on lifestyle financial planning. They have significant financial backing whilst remaining a boutique firm. The Advisers are supported by a highly experienced team of pooled Administrators & Paraplanners and they are encouraged to progress and develop as both professionals and individuals via ongoing CPD and industry exams.
The Managing Director is creating a brand-new role for a Senior Paraplanner/Technical Manager. You will occasionally attend meetings with the Advisers and be their "go-to-person" relating to all technical matters and report writing. You will be working on the more technical cases and have a genuine input into the advice that is given, and you will be engaging with the MD on the best course of action for each case as opposed to simply writing Suitability Reports. This role will suit a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner who may be working towards Chartered Status or already has Chartered status. There is the option to WFH after initial training and onboard
- Salary: Up to £55k basic salary plus discretionary bonus
