We are currently recruiting for an administrator for a well-established, family run business, based in Stockport. The role will involve acting as first point of contact for all drivers and visitors to the business, along with general administration. You will need to be happy to process data and use basic Excel in this role and have a keen eye for detail. Full training will be offered, along with an hourly rate of £12.00ph initially. This would be an ideal opportunity for someone to come in and develop their skills within administration with excellent progression opportunities available. The role is temporary initially, with a view to going permanent after a period of time. The hours of work can be anything between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday only! You will be able to set this, for exapmple 6am to 2pm.
About The Role:
- Answering incoming calls via the switchboard
- Taking messages
- Liaising with Management and Directors
- Dealing with incoming emails
- Dealing with visitors to the business
- General administration duties including filing, faxing, scanning
- Working with Microsoft Excel
- Supporting the operations manager in the day to day running of the business
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within an administration role
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible approach; additional cover may be required to suit the needs of the business
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office
