Junior Software Implementation and Support Consultant
Basic salary £25,000 + annual bonus + benefits
Based in Aberdeen
My client is an established software organisation proving inspection and compliance software to a variety of industry sectors which include oil and gas, lifting and rigging, construction, renewables and more. It helps businesses keep on track with LOLER and PUWER compliance and is recognised within the industry as a market leading organisation. They are looking to bring a junior operations consultant into the professional services team, to help with implementation of new customer software projects and also providing ticket based and telephone based support to their existing customer base. The Role:

Based from the office in Aberdeen, you'd work as part of a team of 4 people

Supporting customers with their compliance and asset management software

This is an entry level role where you can develop your skills and benefit from training and development within the team.

You'll spend your time between 2 main functions:

Service support - acting as a first line responder for customers with general and technical issues.

implementation of software for new clients - this includes configuring a system and data migration and some training of staff once the software is launched.

Customers are mostly within the oil and gas, manufacturing, renewables, industrial and similar industries.

The majority of implementation and support is given remotely through teams or shadowing a user but there may be some requirements for site visits
The Person:
- We;re looking for someone who has ideally worked in an oil and gas or industrial/manufacturing type of environment, maybe within an office in a customer service or admin function but would have some familiarity with the kind of compliance required in their customers' industries.
- Software experience isn't essential but you'll be comfortable taking on board technical IT information
- You'll have strong customer service and communication skills as you'll be dealing with customers almost all of the time.
- Ideally you'll live within a daily commutable distance of Aberdeen but we may consider someone living slightly further away who can work on a hybrid basis.
The Package:
- A basic salary of £25,000 is offered as this is a junior level position.
