Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in overseeing a major high-profile re-cladding project for high-rise residential properties. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of the project, with a particular emphasis on fire safety related to cladding and curtain wall design.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the quality of the re-cladding project, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex construction issues, focusing on fire safety.
- Collaborate creatively with a diverse range of building components and manage various external contractors.
- Work closely with residents to understand and address their specific needs, including those who are vulnerable, elderly, or disabled.
- Maintain robust administrative and contract management practices to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Appropriate engineering or building qualification, or significant equivalent work experience as a Quality Inspector or Clerk of Works.
- Extensive experience in managing complex construction projects, particularly those involving high-rise residential properties.
- Strong knowledge of building pathology and understanding of Mechanical and Electrical installations in domestic properties.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets, performance monitoring, and address trends and patterns effectively.
- Innovative and creative problem-solving abilities to improve project delivery and outcomes.
