Description
R&D Tax Manager -
- Project managing the delivery of a caseload of R&D claims covering a range of companies from SME to large companies and in various sectors.
- Present and explain R&D compliance rules to clients.
- Working collaboratively with clients on their R&D technical reports and evidence.
- Working collaboratively with clients and colleagues on R&D eligible costings.
- Working with R&D claims leading software and also admin support colleagues.
- Work on corporation tax computations for R&D tax relief maximization.
- Engaging with HMRC to conclude R&D claims checks and appeals.
- Involvement in R&D business development and opportunities
Profile
A successful R&D Tax Manager should have:
- A strong educational background in tax or a related field.
- Proven experience in professional services.
- In-depth knowledge of tax legislation and compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong client relationship skills.
- Experienced in Corporation Tax.
- Experience in R&D claims would be helpful but full training will be provided.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Strong client presentation and communication skills.
- Some weekly traveling to clients and other group practices.
