Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Dorking
Pay: Up to £32,000 per annum
Monday - Friday
Alternate week shift pattern - Week 1: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Week 2: 10:00am - 7:00pm
About us
Our client, a global manufacturer based in Dorking is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. You will be a valued part of their ever-growing team and become part of a long-standing successful business.
What the job involves:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling and allocation of tasks.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of goods receipt, put away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Resolve warehouse queries promptly and effectively, including collection issues, customer complaints, and stock discrepancies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in the warehouse.
Desirable attributes:
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Ability to optimise storage space and organise material handling processes.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on positive team influence.
- Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
