This average sized primary and secondary specialist school is currently seeking a permanent teaching assistant to join there setting. This is a independent setting that supports 110 pupils with ASD and complex needs. The school is energetic, full of life and fun and pupils are encouraged to embrace there learning and thrive. This setting has had recurring Ofsted outstanding ratings and is nationally recognised. This school embraces a shared ethos of 'working together' driven by a supportive and valued team and senior leadership. As a teaching assistant your support learners in small class environments, ensuring that they are happy, able and supported in accessing the learning. Each learner is offered a creative, broad and balanced curriculum that embraces the outdoors.

This role is needed on a full time basis. This role is term time only, needed Monday- Friday 08:30-4:30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting KS1- KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
- Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
