A forward-thinking construction consultancy in the North West is seeking an experienced Building Control Surveyor to lead their BSA Principal Design team in compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 regulations.

The Building Control Surveyor's Role
The successful Building Control Surveyor will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to ensure that projects meet the stringent requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022. This role involves providing expert guidance on building safety, conducting thorough inspections, and ensuring that all design and construction work complies with the latest regulations.
Responsibilities include
- Leading the Principal Design team in compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022.
- Conducting detailed inspections of construction projects to ensure adherence to building regulations.
- Providing expert advice on building safety and regulatory compliance to clients and project teams.
- Preparing and reviewing building safety documentation.
- Coordinating with design and construction teams to manage and mitigate risks.
- Delivering training and guidance on building safety regulations and best practices.
The Building Control Surveyor
- Degree qualified in Building Control, Building Surveying, or a related field.
- Professional membership with RICS, CABE, or CIOB.
- Extensive experience in building control or building surveying, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and other relevant regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects and ensuring regulatory compliance.
