Are you a recent graduate in Early Childhood Studies, Special Educational Needs (SEN), Learning Development, or a related field? Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? We have exciting opportunities for Teaching Assistants to join SEND schools in Liverpool!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to children with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, promoting their confidence and independence
  • Support pupil's emotional and social development, encouraging positive behaviour

Requirements:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Studies, Special Educational Needs, Learning Development, or a related field
  • A passion for working with children with SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability
  • Experience working with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and background checks (including a DBS check)
