We are looking for a resilient Learning Support Assistant to work across a range of primary schools in the Oldham and Tameside boroughs from September.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help support children with their behavioural and SEMH requirements, to help them achieve their full potential in the classroom. You may be working on a 1:1 basis. Strong behaviour management skills and SEN knowledge is desirable.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience working with children who have SEN/SEMH needs.
- Hold relevant qualifications.
- Have access to own vehicle for travel (desirable, but not essential)
- Obtain, or willing to obtain an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Be passionate about supporting children's educational needs.
- Be willing to work flexibly when required
