I am seeking a Content & PR Executive for 3 month temporary role at a global organisation based in Margate. This role involves planning, developing, and delivering engaging content across various media, managing subscription assets, and executing public relations strategies. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in content creation as well as marketing communications and PR. This role is onsite at my client's stunning modern offices with free parking and a gym.
Day to day of the role:
- Plan and develop dynamic content for brand-owned media, including email marketing and social media platforms.
- Execute growth strategies for subscription assets, ensuring content is optimised for audience development and engagement.
- Create compelling copy for various media, such as product packaging, website blogs, social media, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Manage all public relations activities, including press releases, generating editorial content, and developing relationships with key press contacts and external agencies.
- Assist with the planning and promotion of external events and execute internal product launch events.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity, market trends, and opportunities.
- Deliver regular reports on marketing activities, demonstrating ROI and making recommendations for future strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree level education or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of effective marketing communications and public relations.
- Proficiency in the marketing funnel and its influence on the customer journey.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
