The Job:
As a Tax & Trust specialist your role is to provide technical support to IFA's regarding Tax, Trusts, Protection and Investments and supper the Advisors with the Investments Advice Guidance Framework. Day to day you will provide a peerless technical query resolution service, via phones, email and Live Chat, adhering to agreed standards and service levels. You will provide added value services, personally contribute to the continuous improvement of the technical query resolution service and be a technical specialist for the team. Please note: You will only spend 2 hours per day on the phone

Key Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Accurately resolve technical and advice queries received via Live Chat, phone, email, ASK and any other digital media within agreed service levels
  • Drive continuous improvement of the technical query resolution service through liaison with various departments to develop systems and tools to support the IFAs in resolving their queries in the most efficient way
  • To provide bespoke presentations to potential and existing IFA's to enable them to be the best and most productive that they can be
  • Consult on bespoke complex queries acting as the subject matter expert
  • Take a high degree of personal responsibility for maintaining awareness and improving own technical knowledge in the Financial Services and Wealth Management sector
  • Lead development for colleagues through the delivery of training in line with the Pathway to Competency to ensure the continuation of a high standard of service in the team
  • Draft and technically sign off the development, launch and maintenance of supporting technical/advice framework content and material for distribution to the IFA's through selected media (eg. Techlink articles, websites)
  • Acting as subject matter expert on projects within the division and wider company

The Person:
Must be Diploma Level 4 qualified as a minimum and gain a strong understanding of the Advice Framework
Recognised experts of all products/services/systems offered and used with regard to Tax, Trusts, Protection and Investments
Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding and specialist knowledge required to technically advise IFAs - recognised as the subject matter expert and final point of escalation in their specialism
Apply consultative questioning techniques to explore the full extent and root cause of queries

The Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (35 hours per week)
