Treasury & Payroll Manager

Are you an experienced accounting professional? Do you have strong knowledge of payroll? If so, our client, a growing manufacturing business, is recruiting for a Payroll Manager on a 12-month contract basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role will involve overseeing payroll for the group and supporting with bank and cashbook reporting.

Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17:00, Friday 09:00 – 15:30

Job Description

  • Submitting monthly payroll, including reviewing overtime and additions.
  • Being responsible for bank account reconciliations including multiple accounts, multiple currencies, and petty cash.
  • Monitoring cashflow on a daily basis and analysing variances against forecast
  • Assisting with month end close and year end audits.
  • Processing monthly credit card transactions, quarterly VAT returns, and collating PSA data.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • You have strong experience of payroll.
  • You have experience of bank reconciliations and cash reporting.
  • You hold a relevant finance or payroll qualification.
